Deviation Actions
I'm considering moving accounts because as much as I don't want to have to, it'd be nice to get a fresh start since I've been doing a lot of evolving over the past few years and I've been trying to branch out and be more versatile. Not to mention that deviantART WILL insist on dredging up old works from years and years ago to feature under "More From This Artist" and just... argh! I don't want to delete all my old stuff, there's a lot of history here I'd like to look back on, and as much as I hate to admit it my older work still seems to be a lot more popular, judging by what I tend to get comments and favs on, and if people still enjoy it I don't want to take that away.
Maybe I'll set up somewhere else to post new stuff and leave this open as a museum type thing? I'm not sure. In the meantime, I've been posting stuff on fb under the name fawndog and on tumblr under the name shelzie

Starting Over
So it's been a long time since I've done much personal art, social media is exhausting in these particular past two years especially, and I've been feeling like trying to start afresh? Nothing up yet, but find me over at :pointr:
...
well, everyone, my attempt to merge my past internet presence with my quickly evolving new one wasn't really working out, so for better or for worse i've gone back to (approximately) what my name was before. this place was my home for a good long time, and they were good years, but dA has gradually been changing, and so have i.
i'll be leaving my gallery up as a museum of sorts, but i probably won't be updating here anymore at this point. i might open a new account for professional work and more serious personal projects, but not anytime soon. you can find me and my art elsewhere on the internet with the links below. i'll always be easy to g
Samurai Chinchilla - Meet the Crew!
EDIT: The Samurai Chinchilla kickstarter page is LIVE!! Help us get this show on the road! -> http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/knightingaleart/samurai-chinchilla-the-animated-short
Some news regarding a project I'm very excited about: my good friend Kristine (!minimarshart (https://www.deviantart.com/minimarshart)) is in the process of making a pilot for her animated series concept, Samurai Chinchilla! She's been putting together a kickstarter page for it which will launch in May. I'll be doing some character animation for it when it gets rolling (a sample of which I've posted about in the past) and lemme tell ya, the show is looking great, the characters are fun and adorable
art theft
(EDIT2: It seems that the page has been taken down! Nicely done, all!)
(EDIT: First off - thank you giftag (https://www.deviantart.com/giftag) for alerting me to this issue!)
I do not make accusations of theft lightly. Silly children making devART accounts and trying to act like big shots by reposting other people's impressive illustrations is annoying, and I report it when I see it, but it's the kind of thing that I imagine most of said people will eventually grow out of, look back on and laugh at. Laugh at how insecure they were that they felt the need to lie about their own skill level to gain internet-fame, and how naive to think that they would get away with it. Tha

I understand, I hate the 'more from the artist' thing :/ My old 'art' is terrifying!
I like looking through other peoples old art and seeing how much they've improved, so if you did move accounts you should defiantly keep this as a museum of days gone by.
It's really all up to you though, just remember to link to the new account because it's horrible when artists don't and you have to dig through the internet to find them XP
