Yaya thanks love <3 I've gotten stuck in AA games too but they're just so fun I love all the characters!
It helps to vary the things you draw - don't like to say I've gotten bored with dogs because there's still a lot I can do with them, but I'm glad for expanding my repertoire and trying out new things! I'm even using this project as an excuse to experiment with colour and lighting which I haven't done much of.
<3 I have only ever played one of them, and I got stuck partway through it and my friend took over xDD but she gave me hers to try, which I should really get around to doing once I'm back home again. The characters were so enjoyable, they're great personalities
It really does. I can honestly say I DID get bored with dogs, and drawing things that people wanted to see. Plus, once I picked up falconry, I didn't really draw anything at all :/ Two years later, I am staring this art-leave in the face with determination to fight the funk. Getting back to using watercolours this summer [because I was afraid my markers would dry in the desert] was pretty dang inspiring, as was crossing paths with a Coyote.
Shelley it's good to see some art from you again! I wish I could keep up with your blog but it's just a pain to get on Blogger in China D: I like how you did the almost purple color scheme here - how it's almost monochromatic, but everything's still in a slightly different hue of purple.
Aww, I appreciate the thought anyways D: It really sucks that censorship is so strict. I missed checking your blog too. Thanks too, I'm trying to get myself to draw and post more regularly as I've said, and I'm glad you like my colour experiment It feels good to finish stuff again, I forgot how fun drawing and colouring in Photoshop was.
I know absolutely nothing about the Phoenix Wright game series, but Maya here is adorable and quite the personable lady. I really like the soft purple color scheme you used. And woe, many a time have I tried to put my hair up like that, but it never ever comes out looking the way it's supposed to.
If you have the means to play them, I highly recommend them, especially if you like mysteries. I love the plots and dialogue and most of the characters I didn't originally like have grown on me through the games. You could probably watch a walkthrough if you're just interested in the stories, but I found half the fun was figuring things out on my own /gush
Anyway thanks a lot! This was my first real attempt at trying something in monochrome and I'm glad you think it's a success And yes if only all of us could have awesome cartoon hair that does what it's supposed to D:
