Fly Free: Thuja

'Kay, so I don't normally do this kind of thing - namely, requests and commissions. For one, I have too much on my plate right now to even think of taking requests, and as for commissions.. well, I have no idea how to conduct transactions. But for this... I just had to do it. She's buying me a subscription for it, but I think I'd have done it regardless.

This is a picture of ~Laricha's recently departed Husky-mix, Thuja, who suffered a great deal of abuse in her lifetime, was deemed a mad dog by most, and finally had to be put down as no-one was able to care for her any longer. Thuja's story touched me enough that I wanted to draw out this tribute for her, requested by her owner.

So, Laricha, here is your beloved girl as you asked for her - at last flying free from all the pain that she endured in her life. I hope I did this idea of yours justice, and my condolences once more for your loss.
